SWYSS International race team demolished all opposition at the natives race in Meribel.
We entered for a bit of fun and walked away victorious, a selection of our sponsored skiers and directors made up the team...Dave Beattie, Agustin Torres, Juan Bertani, Robin Kinnaird and Sally Readman... The event was a dual slalom....Another congratulations also to Agustin,Juan and Sam Burrows who finished 1st, 2nd and 4th respectively in the Individual GS....A greta day for Team SWYSS.
SWYSS Favorite Max Blardone takes 1st place at the Giant Slalom in Alta Badia, Italy.
This year is off to a great start for the Italian GS specialist. After leaving the Italian national team coaches he decided to train independently and this has seen great success with a 1st place result at Alta Badia and a 2nd place at Val D'isere.
SWYSS Supporter Michael Walchhofer skis into 1st place at the Val D'Isere Super-G - Austrian Superstar and SWYSS fan Walchhofer skied fasted to win the Super-G event beating Ted Ligety and Werner Heel who took the 2nd and 3rd places.
Natalie Beattie skis superbly in her first Professional races!
Young prodigy Beattie started at the back of the field on her first GS race and stormed through to finish a very impressive 34th in the GS scoring 79 FIS points and 18th in the Slalom scoring 52 FIS points. In races where Natalie is up against some of the World's best skiers to do so well at the age of 15 is a fantastic achievements done Nats!

England Junior Team have successful training camp in Saas Fee - Nov 09
Head Coach Mike Barker and the junior team headed over to Saas Fee, Switzerland for the first camp of the winter season. Sporting their SWYSS gear for the first time they certainly made an impression amognst the other national ski teams. Fantastic pre season conditions meant that Saas Fee was attracting some of the big names in ski racing, including possibly the most charasmatic and loved American speedster Bode MIller.
